Ficción de performance original en el exordio de ARGONÁUTICAS de apolonio de rodas

Resumen

Las caracterí­sticas del narrador apoloniano han sido objeto de análisis de un número importante de estudios sobre Argonáuticas. Generalmente, se reconoce que este presenta las caracterí­sticas tí­picas del narrador homérico, combinadas con dos caracterí­sticas muy notables que lo alejan de este modelo épico: una muy marcada conciencia literaria y el uso frecuente de elementos y técnicas de otros géneros literarios. En este trabajo intentaremos demostrar que estas caracterí­sticas forman parte de una técnica literaria que atraviesa toda la obra y que denominamos “ficción de performance original”. Esta “ficción” supone que el texto de Argonáuticas es el resultado de una performance épica, mientras que, a la vez y paradójicamente, acentúa su composición escrita. Así­, esta “ficción” recrea la experiencia y los problemas ante los que un lector alejandrino se enfrentaba al leer las épicas homéricas, creando en el poema una poética de la recepción como forma de renovación del género épico.
